It's yours.
The builder wrote your DM. Here is why the three lines work, how to find line 1 fast, the copy-paste versions, the 48-hour follow-up, and what to leave out.
3-Line DM Builder
Type the lead's first name, something specific you noticed about their business, the result they likely want, and your soft ask. You get the same DM written in three styles.

The 3 lines and why each one exists
Line 1: what you noticed. It shows you looked at their business, so the message isn't a blast. One specific thing: a post, a hire, a new location, a line on their site. Line 2: the result they likely want. One sentence on what you help with, written as their outcome and not your service. Line 3: a soft ask. One small question they can answer in three seconds. Not a calendar link, not a pitch. Soft ask examples: 'Worth a quick look?' 'Should I send over how it works?' 'Open to a short chat this week?' 'Want the two-line version?'
Find your line 1 in 60 seconds
Open their website, LinkedIn and Instagram. Look for one of these: 1. A recent post or video you can quote one phrase from. 2. A new hire, location or product. 3. A line on their homepage or About page you can respond to. 4. A review or award. 5. An ad they're running, or a job they're hiring for. Write it so it finishes the words 'I noticed ...'. For example: 'you just opened a second location' or 'your homepage says you work with dental practices'. No real line 1 after 60 seconds? Skip that lead and come back to it.
DM style 1: Direct
DM style 2: Question-led
DM style 3: Short and casual
The 48-hour follow-up
If there's no reply after 48 hours, send one follow-up in the same thread. Keep it short and give them a way out. If you want a third touch, send one last note a week later, then stop.
What not to send
1. 'Hope you're well!' as line 1. It's filler. Start with what you noticed. 2. A pitch in line 1. Line 1 is about them. 3. A calendar link as the ask. It's a big step for a stranger. Ask a small question first. 4. 'Love your content!' with nothing specific. If you can't name the thing, you didn't look. 5. A wall of text. Three lines. If it needs a scroll, cut it. 6. Two questions. One ask only. 7. The same line 1 for every lead. Change it for each person. 8. A name field that didn't fill in. Read the message once before you send it.
From one DM to 100 leads
A DM only works if you have someone to send it to. At the live Group AI Growth Session you complete the 2-minute audit and get 100 verified leads that match your ideal client, with a CSV. The first 10 land during the session and the other 90 at the end, so stay to the end. Write line 1 for each one using the 60-second method, then send the style you liked best. One gift per business, for owners who attend live and finish the audit. It is built for businesses that sell to other businesses.
